Class attire

**Please read the Dress Code carefully!!

Children’s Division (Fall, Spring, Summer):

Girls:

  • Invitation to the Dance I, II, III—-Pink short sleeve, scoop neck leotard
  • Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet —-Lavender short sleeve, scoop neck leotard
  • ALL Pink or white ankle socks or pink dance tights, and pink leather ballet shoes
    (Pink dance tights-Recommended for Pre-Primary and Primary ballet, optional for Invitation to the Dance I, II, and III)
  • Hair should be pulled back neatly from the face in a ballet bun or ponytail. No loose hair around face.

Boys:

  • White socks with black or white leather ballet shoes
  • White fitted t-shirt
  • Black knit shorts

Additional Information:

  • No split sole or canvas ballet shoes, leather only.
  • No varied necklines, strings, sequins, lace, ruffles or other decorations on leotards.
  • No skirts, sweats, warmers, jewelry, or watches.
  • No footless or rolled up tights in Ballet classes.
  • Hair should be pulled back neatly from face and away from eyes.

Lower Level (Fall, Spring, Summer)

Girls: (Ballet)

  • Lower I and II:  Light Blue short or long sleeve, scoop neck leotard
  • Lower III:  Burgundy short or long sleeve, scoop neck leotard
  • ALL: Pink dance tights and pink leather ballet shoes with elastics

Boys: (Ballet)

  • Black leather ballet shoes (All Levels)
  • White Socks
  • White fitted t-shirt (All Levels)
  • Black knit shorts or black dance tights

Girls and Boys (Jazz & Theatre Dance)

  • Any color leotard, tights, unitard or T-Shirt and Jazz pants
    (Theatre Dance students wear red, white,and black only)
  • Black jazz shoes for all.

Additional Information

  • No split sole or canvas ballet shoes, leather only.
  • No varied necklines, strings, halters, or low  backs on leotards.
  • No skirts, sweats, warmers, jewelry, or watches.
  • Hair should be pulled back neatly from the face in a ballet bun or ponytail.
  • No rolled up tights in Ballet classes.

Middle Level (Fall, Spring):

Girls: Ballet

  • Middle I:  Burgundy leotard in uniform styles
    (scoop neck, short or long sleeves)
  • Middle II and III:  Navy Leotard in uniform styles (scoop neck, short or long sleeves)
  • Middle IV:  Black leotard in uniform styles (scoop neck, short or long sleeves)
  • ALL:  Pink dance tights and pink ballet and pointe shoes

 Boys: (Ballet)

  • Black or white ballet shoes (All Levels)
  • White socks optional
  • White fitted t-shirt (All Levels)
  • Black Dance Tights

Character Dance

  • Boys & Girls: Ballet Attire
    Girls: Black Full-Length Skirt (not chiffon wraparound)
    Boys: May wear black jazz pants
  • Black Character Dance Shoes (mid-sized heel)

Modern, Jazz and Theatre Dance

  • Any color leotard, tights, unitard or T-Shirt and Jazz Pants (Theatre Dance wear only black, red, and white)
  • Black jazz shoes for all,  Bare-feet for modern
