Minds In Motion & Community Programs Administrator

The Minds In Motion (MIM) & Community Programs Administrator is responsible for the administrative needs of the Minds In Motion program and some community programs, while serving as the main contact to MIM partner schools, administration, classroom teachers, and students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as Main contact and administrator for schools in the Minds In Motion full-year program, Residency Schools, and to the general public for questions and inquiries;
• Serves as Main Communicator with MIM classroom teacher, principals, and in-school coordinator;
• Facilitates connection between Teaching Artists and MIM Classroom Teachers and communicates scheduling conflicts due to school events, absences, and/or inclement weather;
• Creates MIM Database of 750+ students, Rosters, Nametags and all other classroom materials such as surveys, t-shirt sizes, ticket order, and permission forms;
• Updates Outlook calendar daily for scheduling, meetings, events, etc;
• Creates daily reports for Teaching Artists and Musicians in Airtable;
• Facilitates all Culminating Performance preparations, materials, and communications;
• Handles General Administrative Tasks for Minds In Motion such as website updates, board reports, grant information, and attends weekly meetings;
• Coordinates all Administrative Tasks for MIM Summer Camps;
• Manages all aspects of Youth Performances planning and coordination with schools attending, Dominion Energy Center, and RB Production;
• Helps implement community programs such as book signings, events, etc;
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are within the scope of the job.

Education/ Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of previous customer service and administrative experience
• Prior dance/theatre experience preferred
