Susannah Piersol Barton was first introduced to Richmond Ballet in fourth grade at Fox Elementary where she participated in the Minds In Motion program. From there she fell in love with dance and went on to participate in Team XL, Team XXL, and the Stoner Winslett Scholarship Ballet Class. Susannah graduated from the University of Virginia with Bachelors of Arts in Art History and Religious Studies. Upon graduation, she reconnected with Richmond Ballet when she became a Minds In Motion Teaching Artist Assistant. She then moved to New York City where she served as a Senior Account Executive at Village Print & Media. The organization has had such a huge impact on her life that when she returned from living in NYC she found her way back to it again. This time she decided to take her love for people and put that to use by working as a member of the Development team.
