
Dawn LeHuray received her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI and Master of Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. She worked for six years as an Activity Manager at a retirement community in Wisconsin before transitioning into the Arts Administration field. She has worked for Virginia Opera as the Marketing and Audience Services Coordinator in Richmond and for ASM Richmond as the Box Office Manager at Dominion Energy Center. Several years ago she finally found her home in the arts at Richmond Ballet!
What is your favorite aspect of working at Richmond Ballet?
I love working for Richmond Ballet because it allows me to be a part of something I am passionate about and something I believe in. I have always wanted to work in the arts and Richmond Ballet has allowed me to do this. It is such a caring, inspiring, and creative organization to be a part of. I love it!
What is your favorite aspect of living in Richmond?
Do I have to pick just one? I love the arts and culture, the festivals, and all the outdoor activities it has to offer. I am living in the city, but also have so much nature at my fingertips. It is the best of both worlds!
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love hiking, photography, playing my trombone, gardening, going to music festivals, and spending time outdoors.
