Jordan Garrett has been a local writer and performer in the Richmond area since 2015. She is a graduate of James Madison University’s School of Music with a degree in Music Industry. Her passion for music has given her experience as a choral director, musical director, composer, and accompanist. She served for five years as Glen Allen High School’s Choral Director, where they earned the Blue Ribbon School of Music for every assessment season. Glen Allen administration awarded her the First-Year-Teacher-Of-The-Year Award in 2016. She currently works with students of all ages and skill level in piano, voice, and songwriting as a private instructor. She is an avid songwriter and has begun working on her first studio album. Jordan performs regularly in the Richmond area with her party band, Larceny, and as a national anthem singer for multiple sporting events.
