Your Generosity Creates Incredible Art
Whether on stage, in the studio or out in the community, Richmond Ballet strives to create enduring art that lives on in the hearts and minds of our audiences and performers. Charging the complete cost to professional performances, School of Richmond Ballet classes or Minds In Motion schools would make these experiences inaccessible for many. Your generosity opens the door to the world of dance for our community, the Commonwealth, and beyond.
Nearly 40% of our annual budget is funded through contributions that enable us to reach over 100,000 patrons and participants each year. Your generosity makes you a part of the art at Richmond Ballet, The State Ballet of Virginia.

I give [specific dollar amount or specific asset or the remainder of my residuary estate or xx percent of my residuary estate] to Richmond Ballet, Inc. currently located at 407 East Canal Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, to be added to Richmond Ballet’s General Endowment.

Matching Gift
Increase your donation to Richmond Ballet with a matching gift from your employer! Matching gifts are a type of giving program that is set up by companies and corporations as an employee benefit. After an employee donates to a nonprofit, they can submit a matching gift request to their employer and the company will make an additional gift to that nonprofit. Richmond Ballet has received matching gifts from Altria, Bank of America, CarMax, Citizens Bank, Disney, Dominion Energy, Harris Williams, HCA, Markel, Northwestern Mutual, PNC, TowneBank, Truist and Wells Fargo. Your employer may be added to this generous list!
Simply ask your employer:
- Do you have a matching gift program?
- What is a qualifying donation?
- Is there a deadline to request a matching gift?
With a matching gift, your donation to Richmond Ballet will go even further to bring meaningful arts experiences to communities across Virginia and beyond.
If your employer needs confirmation of your donation to create the match or if you have further questions, please contact Riley Yetter at ryetter@richmondballet.com.
