Beginning spring 2025, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts will welcome Richmond Ballet audiences to the museum's renovated Leslie Cheek Theater, the new host venue for our Moving Art Series. VMFA, located in Richmond's Museum District, is a world-class cultural destination and dynamic gathering space with a comprehensive global art collection and must-see exhibitions.

Parking

The VMFA Parking Deck can be accessed by entering the museum’s main driveway from Arthur Ashe Boulevard. You may also access the deck by entering from the intersection of Sheppard Street and Stuart Avenue. The parking fee is $6. VMFA members may use their membership cards to access the deck and park for free.

Know Before You Go

Dining

VMFA’s Amuse Restaurant, located on Level 3, offers fine dining. Enjoy lunch, dinner, or meet up for drinks in this unique museum setting. Amuse is open Saturday–Tuesday 11:30 am–4:30 pm and Wednesday–Friday 11:30 am–8 pm. Reservations recommended.

Floris at VMFA, located in the museum’s Pauley Center, is the tearoom named “best of” by Richmond Magazine readers and lauded by CNN Travel. Floris is open Saturday–Wednesday 11:30 am–4:30 pm. Reservations recommended.

Late Seating Policy

Please arrive on time (or early) for the safety of our dancers and to ensure the best viewing experience for your fellow patrons. Richmond Ballet and Dominion Energy Center strive to start all productions on time. Late-comers will not be seated in their assigned seats until there is an appropriate break in the performance, as determined by the staff. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Will Call, located at the entrance of the Leslie Cheek Theater, opens one (1) hour before showtime.

ACCESSIBILITY
