Judy Bice
Accompanist
A native of Richmond, Judy holds degrees from the University of Richmond (B.A.) and VCU (M.M.) Her introduction to the Richmond Ballet was through her daughter’s participation as a student. After years of working in public and private schools as a teacher and as an administrator, Judy began accompanying at SRB in 2016. She enjoys the vibrant studios of Richmond Ballet, the opportunity to collaborate musically with teachers, and the privilege of being the audience for the first plie to the dazzling pirouettes.

While performing is considered the pinnacle of dance, the unseen practice and hard work in the classroom is where students spend most of their time.
