Born into a dance family, Keeley began her artistic journey in Pittsburgh, PA. She trained at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in her early teen years, and then decided to finish her training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. After her four years of training at CPYB, she accepted a trainee position here at the Richmond Ballet. Due to an injury during her second year as a trainee, she came to the decision to transition towards other fields of work within the dance community. She is very excited to be more involved with the local community and to expand her knowledge on dance education.
The Faculty of The School of Richmond Ballet is comprised of knowledgeable instructors who share a mutual love for dance and teaching. While performing is considered the pinnacle of dance, the unseen practice and hard work in the classroom is where students spend most of their time. And under the guidance of a dedicated teacher, they’re able to reach their fullest potential.
