Gabor Szigeti, a distinguished artist from Hungary, has obtained a Master of Arts in Pedagogy of Classical Ballet from the Hungarian National Dance Academy and a Bachelor of Arts from the same institution. With a rich background spanning prestigious companies worldwide, including the Hungarian National Ballet and INTRODANS in the Netherlands, Berlin Staatsoper in Germany and Nevada Dance Theater, Gabor has excelled in principal and soloist roles in classical and modern ballets. In addition to his stage career, Gabor is an esteemed educator, having instructed at the Hungarian Dance University, and staged and choreographed for numerous occasions. Recognized for his contributions, he is a two-time recipient of the Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award by the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and a member of CID at UNESCO. Gabor's versatility extends to guest appearances in musical theater productions. Currently, he serves as the Studio Company & Men’s Program Coordinator at the School of Richmond Ballet, residing in Richmond with his wife Kelsey and their four children, perpetuating a legacy of dedication to dance.
The Faculty of The School of Richmond Ballet is comprised of knowledgeable instructors who share a mutual love for dance and teaching. While performing is considered the pinnacle of dance, the unseen practice and hard work in the classroom is where students spend most of their time. And under the guidance of a dedicated teacher, they’re able to reach their fullest potential.
The Administration of the School of Richmond Ballet is made up of a highly organized, devoted team. On any given day, they know what’s happening at the School and help keep our multitude of classes, programs, and special events running smoothly.
