Jennifer was first introduced to dance at the age of three and quickly found a passion for the arts during her dance training. While attending college, she interned for several arts organizations in Hampton Roads including Sandler Center for the Performing Arts and Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration and went on to work for both The Chrysler Museum of Art and Arts for Learning. Jennifer remains active in her local arts community and serves on WHRO's Emerging Leaders Board. She loves being a part of the art at Richmond Ballet and bringing dance to communities across Virginia.
What is your favorite aspect of working at Richmond Ballet?
My favorite aspect of working at Richmond Ballet is having the privilege to advance our mission, share our vision and reach communities in Tidewater that don’t have access to professional ballet. Growing a base of Richmond Ballet supporters in Hampton Roads has been such an incredibly rewarding experience.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am an avid water lover and enjoy the beach and spending time with my longtime partner Stephen on our 13ft Boston Whaler exploring the estuaries of the Chesapeake Bay.
