Mikell Graf, a Jacksonville, FL native, began her training at Florida Ballet Conservatory and Saltmarsh Dance. In the 19/20 season, Mikell danced in Atlanta Ballet’s trainee program. She has also trained at Royal Danish Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, and Boston Ballet over various summers. In 2020, Mikell began her professional career at Florida Ballet. During three years as a dancer with the company, she performed featured roles in ballets such as Telmo Moreira’s Firebird, Roger Van Fleteren’s Cinderella, Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote, Mauro Bigonzetti’s Songs, and George Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie. Mikell joined Richmond Ballet in 2023, performing works by Ma Cong, Young Soon Hue, Andrea Schermoly, Stoner Winslett, Joshua Peugh, Yury Yanowsky, Val Caniparoli, and Ben Stevenson. Mikell recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She is honored to continue her third season with the company, bringing unwavering passion and enthusiasm as she shares her love of dance with Richmond audiences.
