Annika Kuo began her dance training at Princeton Ballet School, also known as American Repertory Ballet, where she was taught by Maria Youskevitch, Kathleen Moore, and Douglas Martin. She has attended numerous summer intensives, including The Royal Ballet School, Chautauqua Institution, and The Dutch National Ballet Academy. In 2022, Annika graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Contemporary Dance. During her senior year of college, she joined BalletX as their 21/22 Dance Fellow. The following year, she joined the company where she spent two more seasons. During this time, Annika had the opportunity to perform works by Matthew Neenan, Justin Peck, Nicolo Fonte, Jennifer Archibald, Jamar Roberts, Amy Hall Garner, and others. She also had the privilege of dancing with BalletX at the Vail International Dance Festival in 2023 as well as The Joyce Theater in NYC. This is Annika’s first season with Richmond Ballet.
