Katrina May Thomas, born in Naperville, IL, has lived in North Carolina since she was two. At the age of four Katrina May attended The Nutcracker for the first time, inspiring her love for dance. Following several years of classes at a local dance studio, Katrina May began training at Charlotte Ballet. She then came to Richmond Ballet as a Trainee, joining the Studio Company two years later. Katrina May has loved performing in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Ma Cong’s Calling, Edward Stierle’s Concerto Con Brio, Ben Stevenson’s Dracula and many others. She is excited for the new opportunity to continue dancing with Richmond Ballet as a Company Apprentice.
