Morgan Davis, from Fishersville, VA, began competitive dancing at the age of eight. She moved to Tampa, FL in 2017 to train under Julio Montano and Gissell Durand. In 2019, she placed top 50 at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals NY and won the bronze medal at the World Ballet Competition. The same year, she was accepted to Houston Ballet Academy’s professional division. After three years at Houston Ballet Academy, Morgan joined the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education as a Trainee in 2022. During that year, she performed alongside the Tulsa Ballet company in the The Nutcracker. The following year, Morgan was promoted to Tulsa Ballet II and performed in Don Quixote (staged by Marcello Angelini), Strictly Gershwin (Derek Deane), Romeo & Juliet (Edwaard Liang), and Dracula (Ben Stevenson). Morgan is excited to begin her first season with Richmond Ballet as a Company Apprentice.
