Chase Marcot began his dance journey with competitive hip-hop before discovering his passion for ballet at a young age. After observing a ballet class and instinctively mimicking the movement, he was invited to join and quickly developed a strong interest in classical training. He went on to study at American Ballet Theatre’s William J. Gillespie School, where he performed the role of The Nutcracker Prince with ABT’s main company in The Nutcracker for three consecutive years. Chase continued his training at Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy before being accepted into the prestigious San Francisco Ballet School. Upon graduation, he joined Tulsa Ballet II, where he was introduced to the choreography of Ma Cong, dancing the lead role of Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk. In 2024, Chase joined Richmond Ballet’s Studio Company and was promoted to Apprentice for the 2025/26 season. His accolades include being a Spotlight Grand Prize Winner, a YoungArts Finalist, an ABT National Training Scholar, and a Youth America Grand Prix Final Round participant.
