Chelsea Hacking was raised in Fredericksburg, VA, where she began her early dance training at the Fredericksburg Academy of Ballet. Ten years later, she joined the School of Richmond Ballet in the fall of 2020, after attending the School of Richmond Ballet’s Summer Intensive in 2019. Following two years in the School, Chelsea was accepted into Richmond Ballet’s Trainee Program, where she performed various roles in Ben Stevenson’s Dracula, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and Stoner Winslett’s production of The Nutcracker. In 2024, Chelsea was promoted into Richmond Ballet’s Studio Company. For the past two years, she has performed in works such as Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena and Djangology, Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, and Ma Cong’s Match Point. Chelsea is thrilled to begin her first season as a Company Apprentice!
