Isabella Franco began dancing at the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet at the age of three. She was a 2016 YoungArts Finalist in Dance. Isabella attended summer intensives at the Princess Grace Academy, the San Francisco Ballet School, and the School of American Ballet. She spent two seasons as a Ballet Austin Fellow and four seasons with Charlotte Ballet. Isabella joined Richmond Ballet in 2025. During her five-year professional career, her principal roles have included Eve in John Butler’s After Eden, Odette/Odile in Ib Andersen’s Swan Lake, Aurora in Matthew Hart’s Sleeping Beauty, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and the Duets in Mthuthuzeli November’s From Africa with Love and Vibes and Variations. She has been featured in works by Ma Cong, Jorma Elo, Val Caniparoli, Trey McIntyre, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Rena Butler, Andrea Schermoly, Price Suddarth, David Morse, Alejandro Cerrudo, Helen Simoneau, Jennifer Archibald, and Christopher Stuart.
