Nathan Cronheim-Strasser, from Columbus, OH, started his dance training at BalletMet Academy. He continued studying at Cary Ballet Conservatory and finished his education at Canada’s National Ballet School. As a student, he had the opportunity to dance in works by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Aszure Barton, and Jera Wolfe and performed roles including the Waltz Boy in Balanchine’s Serenade and the Duet Couple in James Kudelka’s Lay Dances. During this period, he was lucky enough to perform at YAGP’s Festival de Danza in Veracruz, Mexico, at Fall for Dance North in Toronto, ON, and at the Holland Dance Festival in The Hague, the Netherlands. After finishing his studies, Nathan spent two seasons with Tulsa Ballet 2, performing a variety of works and joining the company on their tour to Cleveland, OH. He is thrilled to be joining Richmond Ballet for the 2026/2027 season.
